Just came back from a trip around Khartoum - we saw where the White and Blue Nile meet and we also went to a market. It is really intense here, lots of people, lots of smells (good and bad...) and lots of donkeys and and and!I also had my first real meal here, roasted chicken and bread - and of course you eat with your hands! Yummy! It was really delicious! Tomorrow I am hoping to do some shopping, so I can bring some food to Showak (apparently there is not much to buy there).
